strawberry cookies

Ingredients


1/3 Cup of Crushed Strawberries
​4 oz of Cream Cheese
1/4 Cup of Sugar (Xyla)
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
1.5 Cups of Softened Butter
1 Cup of Almond Flour
1 tsp of Hot Water
1/2 tsp of Baking Soda
1 Egg


Instructions


Step 1) Preheat the oven to 350 F

Step 2) In a large bowl add the butter and sugar, creaming both together until smooth

Step 3) Add the egg and beat it, then insert the vanilla extract, mixing until smooth

Step 4) Combine the baking soda and water then pour it into the bowl

Step 5) In a separate bowl, combine the rest of the dry ingredients

Step 6) Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, slowly mixing as you go

Step 7) Using a scooper or by hand, drop a normal sized portion of the batter on a baking sheet

Step 8) Using the bottom of a jar or cup, carefully press each ball of dough down onto the sheet

Step 9) Bake for roughly 15-20 minutes depending upon how you like your cookies

Step 10) After 15-20 minutes has elapsed remove them from the oven and allow them to cool

Step 11) Refrigerate them for 24 hours to allow them to solidify

Step 12) In a small mixing bowl add the strawberries and cream cheese, mixing until a thorough consistency is achieved

Step 13) Spread the mixture on top of each cookie and enjoy!
